.......and yes, I got to meet the Backstreet Boys again! Thirteen years since I last tried and then I meet them twice in four days!
Yes, I know I said in a previous blog entry that I would not be returning to the studios, but the urge was too strong not to! Plus, the fact I had not got autographs and photos from all five of the boys was starting to get me! So I had to go back, I had to complete the set!
I was not even planning to go on Friday. I was going to go Saturday and bring my eight years old daughter with me! But again, the urge was too strong, I needed to go sooner and when thinking about it, Saturday would probably be busier! So Friday it had to be and luckily I was able to arrange for Charlie to go to his friend's house to play, leaving me with just Owen to come with me!
It turned to be an amazing day for so many reasons and I am so glad I changed my mind about coming back!
1. The Fans! For some reason, it seemed there was a much more friendly crowd of fans there, which resulted in a much relaxed and happier atmosphere. What was even better is that people were willing to chat to each other, leading to friendships being made and lots of great laughs being had. The best part though was meeting fans who I had spoken to about the studios. I got to meet Bobby, who had been so nice about giving me all the information I needed to be successful in meeting the boys! I also got to meet two of the ladies, to whom I had passed on what I knew. To be able to thank each other in person just made it even more special! But it reminded me of why I never minded waiting around when I was teenager, it made me remember just how great the fans can be!
2. The Film Crew! I am not a vain person and quite honestly, I hate seeing myself on video but I loved the fact I was down at studios when the film crew (making a documentary to celebrate the boys' 20 years as a band) was there filming! The reason why was because I was going to be part of something special and important for the boys and the fans. Admittedly, I will cringe when I see myself on camera if any shots I am in make the cut!
3. Meeting Q! For those who are not fans, Q is the band's security, bodyguard, whatever term you see fit to describe him. To us fans, he is the sixth member! We all love him as much as we love them! He has such a tough job and there are many fans who do not help and do not listen to him, but for those that do, they get to meet the band they love! What was particularly special for me is the fact he remembered me from my previous visit but more specifically Charlie and his wellies being on the wrong feet!
4. The naughty chat with AJ! I had heard and seen on Twitter that the boys loved to hang out of the window and chat to the fans. I didn't get to experience it the first time as I shot straight off when they went in. But we hung around on Friday chatting to the other fans. Next thing, we know AJ is hanging out of the window asking whether we were signing a petition (it was a release for the documentary). One fan shouted back, "Yes, we signing a petition to get you to strip naked!" AJ told us to just ask, so I did! I still can't believe I did that but what a memory to have! I am not telling you the rest of conversation, as the girls got more and more suggestive as it went on!
5. The boys themselves!!! Obviously they are the main reason for the day being so special, so I cannot leave them out! All the fans agreed that it did help that the film crew was there as they were more willing to stop and chat with the fans for longer, which was good for me as it helped me complete my photos and autographs. When I asked AJ for another photo, I admitted that the last one was not taken at a good angle, which he agreed that he knew the feeling! Photos definitely are much better than my previous as my friend, Sam was with me, taking them for me and vice versa! I even felt much calmer, did not shake and felt more content once I met each one of them!
The fact I also got to cuddle up to them as well this time made me even happier! Nick seemed much more happy than he had previously. Brian appeared to be quieter but it was obvious he was missing his family, especially considering it was his wife's birthday that day. AJ and Howie were both chatting away to the fans and as always Kevin took his time with the fans. It is seeing the boys in this situation that helps reminds me (and hopefully the rest of the fans) that they are normal people, who may not always be in the best moods. But the fact they were all still willing to stop to speak to us shows that despite whatever mood they are in, they really do care about and love their fans!
I have not been back to the studios that day as I have not felt the need to. I am glad I haven't as the fans are starting to become out of control and placing themselves and the boys in danger with their behaviour. Meaning the boys have not always stopped or have left by a different exit. It is sad that people are willing to ruin it for everyone else. Admittedly, AJ has not helped by (I presume) accidentally revealing the address in a photo, which if the fans have noticed, may of increased the numbers waiting for them. So I am grateful to have been able to meet them and to have met them in a calm and relaxed circumstances!

Thirteen Years in the Waiting.....
Finally, 13 years after I tried and failed to meet them, I got to meet the Backstreet Boys! To say I am happy is an understatement, I am buzzing, ecstatic, on cloud nine, over the moon, I could go on! The simple fact is one of my dreams came true today and nothing can take away that feeling!
I spent an hour and a half travelling across London for this, along with my two youngest children, my friend, Candé and her two daughters, just to spend five minutes with the Backstreet Boys and it was totally worth it! Obviously, there was that worry as to whether my children would behave at the precise moment I needed to and luckily, they did, for which I am very proud of them!
The Boys arrived just before midday and were more than happy to pose for photos and sign autographs. Kevin and Howie were the first out and immediately spotted my boys and said hello to them! The fans did go a little a crazy but I waited patiently and got that long waited for photo with Kevin after to being so close to him 13 years earlier.
Next up was the one photo I said I wanted most of all and anything else I got would just be an added bonus! That photo was with Brian, who has been my favourite member for as long as I can remember. He quite happily agreed to the photo and I got it! One very happy fan! I have to say he look very handsome in the shirt he wearing!
I, then, spotted AJ immediately next to me so quickly asked for a photo before he disappeared in. Loved the fact he had his trademark sunglasses on! At that point, though, I realised Howie had already gone in and that Nick was attempting to head in, despite still being surrounded a few fans. So I gave up and went grabbed my autograph book and Sharpie!
I saw that both Kevin and Brian were stood right my stroller where Owen was sitting patiently (and for a two year old child that is impressive). I headed straight over to Brian as again if I had to have anyone's autograph, it was going to be his! He had being given a box of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and was using the box to balance people's books while he signed. As I was standing there waiting, he joked it was just like having his own desk!
After I got Brian's autograph, I spotted Kevin sneaking back around the car so he could head in. So I turned and intercepted so I could his autograph and got it. Just before Kevin headed inside, he said hello to Charlie again, put his hand down onto Charlie's head and said to him, "Have a good day!" All I could say was thank you but was very happy and grateful nonetheless.
Q, the boys' security guard, also spoke to Charlie, as he was peering into the gate, perhaps considering sneaking in. Q commented on the fact that Charlie's wellies were on the wrong feet (not an uncommon occurrence) but Charlie went shy, though I suspect he may of been scared for some reason! I did tell Q that for some reason Charlie prefer wearing his wellies wrong, which made him laugh!
Brian was the only one left after Kevin went in (yes, that made me pleased) so like every other fan, I decided to see if I could get any more photos (not with him) of Brian. Not exactly the easiest thing to do when there is only one of the boys and 20 odd fans! But I managed to capture quite nice one!
This all took place in the space five minutes, maybe ten. But I was shaking the whole time all because I was so excited! I am so happy that I finally got to meet the boys after all these years of waiting and they were all so nice and really happy to stop and speak with the fans! I would head back up to the studios to complete the photos and autographs I still need but I got the photo I really wanted (Brian!) and want every fan to be able to have the chance I had as well!
Roll on the new album, the 20th Anniversary celebrations and hopefully, new tours! Perhaps, that is when I can complete the collection!

London Film and Comic Con 2012
How is it that I have lived in London all my life, had a major part of my life meeting celebrities and spent many moments looking at the internet to see if there is anyway to meet my favourite stars and yet, it is only this year that I have finally discovered London Film and Comic Con??? And even then, I only discovered it by complete accident on Facebook through an album my friend had uploaded to her profile from last year's event!!!
London Film and Comic Con, to me, is the smaller and British equivalent to the more well known and quite possible world renowned San Diego Comic Con International! Obviously things are a little different for us Brits because our TV programmes are not done on a yearly season like in the US! And even then the main bulk of the guests are from America from Cult Classics! Even so, it is an event that provides an amazing opportunity to meet cast members of your favourite TV programmes and movies!
This year's LFCC was no exception. It was classed by regular attendees as one of the best line ups that Showmasters has ever gotten for the event! And I have to admit I agree, even as a newbie to the convention scene! The main draw for me was two cast members of one of my favourite TV shows, Charmed. What made it even better for me, it was two of my favourite characters as well, Piper and Leo, played Holly Marie Combs and Brian Krause. The moment I saw them as guests, I booked entry tickets and photo opportunity tickets! Now this was in February and the lineup just kept getting better and better, to the point I knew I would have to dig into my savings (money which I had been keeping for something else next year) to be able to afford to get all the autographs and photos I wanted!
The day had originally meant to be for just me and my husband, Jon. But our babysitter fell through a couple of weeks before and I knew I would never get another in time, so it meant the children had to come, which led to a major panic. Our second child, our first son, Mattie is autistic. One of the issues with his autism is that he is unable to queue for long and taking him to an event where you are going to spend most of the day queuing was not the best idea. But luckily, I was pointed in the direction of a specific staff member who was able to help in two ways. Firstly, he was able to give me permission to use the Gold Pass Holders' entrance, meaning we were able to walk straight in with no queuing needed (and I am thankful because the queues were ridiculously long) and secondly, he was able to arrange an Extra Help Pass, which allowed us to bypass long queues for photo opportunities and join the back of any autograph queues, regardless of whether or not it had the VT system in force. This made the day a lot more easier and quicker for us as a family and allowed us to meet all the guests we wanted to meet. So before I continue, I want to say a HUGE thank you to Showmasters for having this in place for families like ours, without it, going to these events would not be possible!
Now I am not going to go in to a blow by blow account because we had such busy and packed day and that it would lead to a ridiculously long posting! So I am going to go through each guest we met instead!
Guest Number 1: Robert Maschio (Dr Todd Quinlan - Scrubs)
Robert was the first guest we met and as he had promised on Twitter, he was dressed in full costume right down to the "Doc" tattoo. He was very welcoming and commented on us bringing the children! And he was more than happy to pose for a photo. When I went to his photo opportunity, he even remembered my name and gave me a high 5!
Guest Number 2: Holly Marie Combs (Piper Halliwell - Charmed)
Holly was a main draw of the event for me and I am certain it showed on my face when I went for my photo opportunity with her. I had this goofy smile on face so big that I lost the ability to speak when it was my turn for a photo! But she was so lovely and welcoming! Luckily, I lost the idiotic smile by the time I went to get autograph and managed to get some words out! I had Owen with me, who immediately started flirting with Holly, so I got him out and asked if she would be have a photo with him and she was more than happy too as was Owen! After he had his photos, the crew member happily took a photo with my camera for me! Holly was a fantastic guests and I am so happy to of met her!
Guest Number 3: Dave Prowse (Darth Varder - Star Wars Triology)
This was someone I had to meet for Jon! Dave was an extremely nice guy, very happy to sign Jon's Star Wars DVD Boxset and even posed with it for the photo! But with Dave came my oddest moment of the day! I am not even sure what prompted him to ask it but he asked me what make of camera I had, so I told him and told him it was a great camera! Weird as it was, it was great to meet him and he really helped with the reality that celebs really are normal people!
Guest Number 4: Zack Galligan (Billy Peltzer - Gremlins)
Yet another guest I went to meet for Jon. Great guy and happy to pose for photos. Signed Jon's Gremlins DVD boxset! I actually turned up and queue just as he went for a quick break but he actually turned round and told those of who were waiting himself, which I thought was a very nice thing for a guest to do!
Guest Number 5: Danielle Harris (Halloween)
Now I will admit I have not seen Halloween (hate Horror movies) but I do know who Danielle is! I remember her from Charmed and Diagnosis Murder and I told her so and smiled at the fact that was why I knew her! You can probably guess by now that being Danielle is a beautiful woman (fangirling here) that Owen was straight in there with his cheeky charm and grabbing her attention. Luckily, Danielle was also happy to pose for photo with me and Owen. She also came out from behind the table to stand next to us for which I am grateful! Owen loved between his mummy and a gorgeous woman cos I can see it in his face in the photo!
Guest Number 6: Brian Krause (Leo Wyatt - Charmed)
Now this was the highlight of my day, meeting the very charming Brian Krause. Out of everyone I met, he really seemed up for anything that day! I thought I might become my idiotic self when I met him, either that or I would cry. Yet somehow I held it together due to very fact, Brian was welcoming. When I reached the front of the queue, he actually apologised for the wait, which I thought was very sweet of him. I told him he was my favourite character (which is the truth) and that I was really upset when they (sort of) killed off in the middle of the final season, to which he admitted he was too! Though I quickly replied that I was very happy he came back for the season finale! At that point, I asked for a photo, which he obviously obliged to and he came out from behind the table and pulled me in close for the photo (which is my favourite shot taken on my camera from the whole day). Later I had my photoshoot with, which had been moved back twice, but I was really happy to be able to have it, no matter the time it was at. When I went in, I had two of my boys with me and Brian noticed and commented on it. I told him I actually had 4 children and he was shocked. Perhaps I still look younger than I am! Brian was the most amazing guest and really knew how to make the fans feel comfortable and welcomed.
Guest Number 7: Anthony Head (Rupert Giles - Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
Anthony Head was definitely on must meet list and meet him I did! He was absolute gentleman and sadly I was unable to say much but "Hi" and "Can I have a photo with you please". Perhaps it was because I am currently watching a rerun of Buffy that I was starstruck by in front of Giles! Maybe it was another reason! Either way when it came to the photo, he leaned over enough so our heads were touching as to give me the best photo possible! When I went to leave, he noted that Owen was sleeping in blissful ignorance (or something along those lines)! But I will say this, he really has aged well!
Guest Number 8: Michael Winslow (Police Academy, Gremlins)
This was another of Jon's must meets and I have admit I had no idea who he was. The first thing I noticed while queuing was that every time he got up to have a photo, he would pull his collar into place and push his bowler hat into place as well in order to give everyone a great photo! He was a great guy to meet and added an additional speech bubble on Jon's Gremlins Boxset and then had me in fits of giggles after doing the Gremlin voices!!!
Guest Number 9: Ke Huy Quan (The Goonies)
Another of Jon's must meets and I have to admit while he was very polite and spoke to my boys, he was a very quiet guest. Not that it should put off anyone meeting him as he was willing to pose for photos for thoe who wanted them,
Guest Number 10: Alex Winter (Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure)
Another of the quieter guests, but still more than willing to pose for a photo. But the best part was how he signed the autograph, not only did he personalise it for me, but he did a quote without asking! How cool is that!!! Was very pleased to meet him, though wouldn't it of been cool to of had Keanu Reeves with him too?!
Guest Number 11: Mickie James (Former WWE Diva)
I am not into Wrestling but I was actually excited to meet her after how nice she was to Mattie during the photo opportunity and because she was a WWE Diva. And she was so lovely and actually asked if she could hold Owen for a photo! How could I say no? Sadly Owen was sick of the posing by that point, so it wasn't the greatest picture but it sure makes me smile when I look at it!
Paid Talk - Holly Marie Combs and Brian Krause (Charmed)
I didn't think I was going to make this talk as originally Brian's photoshoot had been rescheduled for the same time. Luckily, Showmasters came to their senses and move his shoot to later in the afternoon and asked him to join the talk, thus making the Charmed fans very happy. Sadly, on arrival, I found the row I was meant to be in completely full, so obviously, a few people had sat where they should not of been! But it didn't bother as I had to bring the boys to the talk with me (Thank you to the crew for allowing me to do so) and it allowed me to sit further back with more space for us. The sound system was not great so I did not hear everything spoken about but I managed to hear the answer to my question, which was from Brian!!! Big cheers were raised when Brian asked whether we wanted a Charmed movie (obviously we do!). I left shortly before the end as the boys were getting restless but I am glad I managed to make it.
Overall, I had an amazing day, despite some minor issues, which were all quickly rectified or ended up working in my favour. I am officially a convention convert and definitely plan to be back next year, but with my daughter in tow! I would highly recommend this event to anyone who has a dream list of celebs they wish to meet, especially if they are a part of a cult classic! And next year, I plan to say hello to those I have gotten to know through twitter or the showmasters forum!
And before I sign off, one last thing. My day was made further complete after one of my tweets was replied to by Holly Marie Combs! But what made it even better, it was in response to the photo of her and my son that I tweeted!!!

West End Live 2012
West End Live has fast become one of my favourite events to attend and as a result is now on my must do list every year! The reason why, well that would be two reasons! Firstly, it is FREE! Yes, I said free! Secondly, it is an opportunity to be able to see a snapshot of every musical currently playing in the West End, plus more! We discovered last year, but sadly, we could only stay a couple of years, but it made enough of impression for us to return this year and stay for the whole day!
We had made the decision to go on the Sunday as we felt it would be less busy, plus a couple of West End Stars we were fans of, were going to be performing their solo material that day. So early that Sunday morning (here comes the recurring theme), we shot up London to Trafalgar Square, so we could in the queue to get a good place to watch from. I was very happy to see they had change the queuing system and introduced a snaking barrier system to prevent a free for all that they had the year before. It was a long wait before we could go in but we were able to hear and see the sound checks for The Lion King and Matilda, which pleased Rachael (as you can probably guess) as she was getting bored of waiting!
Finally, we were let in and we headed over to one of the fountains, where we had stood the year before. But no, Rachael wanted to have a look around before the first act took to the stage! I am glad she did, as we were able to go and see some well known cars from the movies! They had a great variety from the Kit car from Knightrider to the Flintstones Car! I was ecstatic at seeing the Herbie Car from Herbie Fully Loaded! The Flintstones car was available for people to get into to have a photo, though the crew member next to it was trying to encourage people to throw their arms up for the photos, which scared Rachael a little! She just wanted to pretend to drive instead!
Then we finally went over to watch the performances. I won't go through each one, I will be here all day otherwise. So I will give you a rundown of our top 5 faves of the day!
First pick has to be Rock of Ages. We missed their performance at West End Live 2011 and I have still not been to see it, so was highly excited for the performance. The cast is such an amazing, talented bunch that you can't help but rock on with them! They performed three songs: "Here I go again"; "Wanted Dead or Alive" and "Don't Stop Believing" - all three big crowd pleasers! I have to throw my hands and say that Shayne Ward really is suited to role of Stacee Jaxx and is much performer now than he was on X Factor and it does help a little with amazing arm muscles he has! We happened to also be stood in front three major Rock of Ages fans who were singing very loudly, one of them had seen the show 20 times! I can understand why though, it is obviously an amazing show! A must see for those old enough and a great one for the men!
Second pick has got to be Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain. We booked tickets to see this a few months ago as both Rachael and Jon (my husband) are huge fans of the TV series. We were also very lucky to meet one of the cast members before they went on stage, who informed us that the cast who would performing in August are a great cast! Well the two performing that day were fantastic and gave the audience a great taste as what to expect! Not only was it hilarious but a great educational show. Using a song with actions to remember the order of what happened to Henry VIII's wives was a genius move! It had Rachael joining in and looking forward to seeing the full show!
The final three picks are Matilda, Shrek and Angelina Ballerina. Matilda only performed one song but the little girl playing the title role was amazing and I can understand why it is already impossible to get tickets to the show! Shrek was an obvious pick, we are already in love with the show despite not having seen it yet (that is happening in August for us!) but it gave us a chance to see Carly Stenson in the role for the first time and I was thoroughly impressed by her and the entire cast! The final pick, Angelina Ballerina is Rachael's choice, though I was impressed it was not people in full animal suits but actual people! And top of that, it did actually work as show! Sadly, we already have too much on during the summer to be able go and see it! Hopefully it return to the West End next year!
Finally on to the celeb encounter. Louise Dearman, Mark Evans and Alex Gaumond were all performing songs from the debut albums and all were fantastic. After all three had performed they did a signing for the fans and we immediately got in the queue. Once we got up there, we told Louise and Mark that we had met them the previous summer after a performance of Wicked and they remembered us once we told the dress Rachael was wearing!
All in all, it was amazing and cheap day out. Besides the performances, there were lots of exhibitors showing the best of what London had to offer. Definitely a must do for all Londoners!

Smile for the Camera!
So before I start this one, I must confess something! I only truly became a fan of this next person in the week leading up to meeting them! However, I cannot understand why it took me so long to realise what an amazing artist she truly is!
The artist of whom I am talking is Carrie Underwood. You see, Rachael and I have loved "Ever, Ever After" since Enchanted was released! Plus we love "Last Name" when it was performed on Glee, however, it was a couple of years before we found it was Carrie's song! I saw she was signing albums at HMV and decided to google her and the album title to see what videos were available and I found a live performance of Blown Away. She was absolutely stunning live and song was fantastic. I was hooked instantly and went out and got every album of hers I could find and book two last minute tickets to her gig at the Royal Albert Hall!
On the day of the signing, we shot up London (you may start seeing a recurring theme with this), and headed to HMV, quickly buying the album I had unable to get earlier in the week and headed to the queue. I have to admit I wasn't sure if I was expecting a long or short queue, but it was a good size when we got there. Slowly as the two hours past before we were allowed in, more fans arrived. I was very impressed she had a good size fanbase in London! Eventually, the crowd was allowed to start making their way into the store to wait for Carrie to arrive! We were stopped just as we reached the door and made to wait but this turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I am about to reveal!
We were led in to the front of a new line, right next to the press photographers and the staff running the event. The press were immediately taken with Rachael and took a couple of shots of her while she was waiting. Then just before Carrie was due to come out on the stage, a member of staff approached me asking if they could use Rachael for some press shots with the lady herself! Obviously, I had to say yes! Admittedly, I asked the fans who were meant to be first up if they had a problem with it but on seeing Rachael, the actually didn't mind! It was at this point, Carrie came out on stage and begun posing for the press. While waiting, I grabbed some of my own photos, before we went up on stage!
I took Rachael up and to the table and we were asked to look round at the cameras. I seen the cameras go off before but I was not prepared how bright it was! Then Carrie came back around the table for photos with us. I was not meant to be in the picture but Carrie put her arm round me and I was not going to say no for a photo with her! As I stepped when asked, she turned to me and commented on how bright the flashes of the cameras were. It made me feel better that celebs do not always enjoy them!
I was so proud and impressed with Rachael. She had no issue with the cameras constantly going off and she behaved so well! Though, I think she was glad when we could finally turn round to the table and get the album signed! At that point, I was able to come back over to her and helped her talk to Carrie (Rachael goes quiet when she meets new people) and pass her drawings she had done for Carrie to her. Carrie was very impressed with them and loved them! I have to admit I couldn't shut up! When I meet celebs, I either can't talk or I babble for England! I am certain they think I am all crazy! I told Carrie we were newer fans but we were coming to the show and were very excited about it! After she had past the album back to us, we were done and it was time to leave the stage. We were only up there for 3 or 4 minutes but it felt much longer!
I want to finish to thanking the amazing fans. Not only did capture some photos but two fans captured the moment on video, thus creating a lasting memory for us! We really appreciated it and were really happy we were able to show our family the moment we met the beautiful, Carrie Underwood!

Dream Come True
In May, I had the chance to make my daughter's dream come true by meeting that one celeb that is a absolute dream! Both me and my daughter are self confessed Gleeks (Glee fans for those not in the know) and the chance to meet anyone from the show would be a dream, but the biggest dream was meeting Lea Michele! So it helped when my husband informed me she was in London and attending the Glamour Awards. So after some research, a tantrum from my daughter and a quick check on travel, the decision was made to go. I knew from experience there was no guarantee we would meet her, but we had to try as the opportunity was there and it might not of come again!
Straight after school, Rachael and I shot up into London and up to Berkeley Square, adding in a quick stop for food. We arrived that we were not the only ones to have the same idea but I didn't let it ruin our spirits! Sadly, it was a long wait to be able to get our place behind the barrier, but a notepad and pen kept Rachael busy and being access the Glamour wifi connection kept me happy, plus doing what I love to do, making friends! When we were finally allowed through, we ended up in what we thought could potentially be a bad spot and not one person would allow my daughter a better view. You would think a group of middle aged men despite wanting to meet the same star us, would of been more understanding! Luckily, an additional barrier was added, which Rachael promptly sat on! Ok, so we were at the end but we had to optimistic that our dream of meeting Lea would come true!
Once the stars begun to arrive, we were shocked at just how many walked straight after a quick pose for the press! You would think with all the fans there, more of them would stop, but even stars renowned for their love of their fans were walking straight in. But that all changed when Jamie Campbell Bower showed up! He walked up every area with fans and signed autographs! Rachael had no idea who he was but I did, to me he was the first cast member of Harry Potter I had got to meet!
The next celeb to sign autographs was Jason Issacs! Yes, another Harry Potter cast member! As you can imagine, I was happy! Jason actually spoke to Rachael, asking her if she was actually comfortable sitting on the barrier the way she was. I also spoke and made a complete fool of myself saying he had played well in Soccer Aid a couple of nights earlier, though he promptly reminded me, he had not touch the ball and was injured! Even so, he was very sweet and a honour to meet!
Then the woman we had been waiting for arrived to huge screams and cheers for not only the fans but the press! Yes, Lea Michele had arrived, looking absolutely stunning! She went straight to the fans and started signing and posing for photos and then went and posed for the press. It looked she was not going to come to us until a member of the security team pointed out Rachael, while the fans around us screamed for her, also pointing at Rachael! Lea then began to approach us, which made me start to cry, all because my little girl was going to get to meet her idol! The moment Lea approached Rachael, she smiled and went "awwww" and then promptly signed an autograph! Rachael managed to pass Lea a drawing she had done, however we do not whether she has kept or even looked at it properly. I like to think she has!
We could of left after meeting Lea, but we decided to see who else turned up! Next to come down to us was the stunningly beautiful and petite Eva Longoria! On seeing Rachael, she said "Awww, you're so cute" or something along those lines! She also signed us an autograph, not that Rachael knew who she was.
The celeb arrivals started to ease but there was one last surprise in the form of Oscar Winner and A Lister, Cuba Gooding Jnr! In a moment of quiet from the press and the fans, I called out "Cuba, come meet my daughter!" And he did! Rachael did not immediately know who he was but did recognise him from a Disney movie! She was impressed a meeting someone as famous as Cuba!
After that, the celeb arrivals pretty much stopped, so we decided to go home, tired but extremely happy our dream had come true!
